District Missionary Ada Walker

District 13

Missionary Ada Walker was appointed District Missionary in District 13 in 2018 by Mother Frankie Davis Murray, Supervisor under the leadership of District Superintendent, Superintendent Jerry Walker, and Bishop Daniel Titus Littleton, Prelate.

Some accomplishments that God has given the District 13 Department of Women are:

  • A loving peaceful relationship among the Ladies
  • Designated times of Fasting and Fervent Prayer
  • A holistic approach to Women Ministry
  • Institution of a new financial reporting method for the Women
  • Providing transparency in District finances
  • Providing opportunities for all women to participate on the District level
  • Donating to charitable organizations
  • Empowering the ladies to serve and support their local church and Pastor

Missionary Walker considers it an honor to serve the local church (Greater Collins COGIC, Collins, MS – 34 years); District 13 family, District Superintendent Walker, Mississippi Southern First Ecclesiastical Jurisdictional leaders, the Church of God in Christ, and Almighty God. To God be the glory for the things He has done!

District Missionary Walker retired from a professional career where she spent most of her time as an Educator, Educational Program Developer, and Supervisor.

Missionary Walker is the oldest child born to Mr. and Mrs. Dee Foxworth of Foxworth, MS. She is the wife of Administrative Assistant Jerry Walker, the mother of their four sons, mother in love to three daughters, and Grannie to three precious grandgirls.
