District Missionary Virginia Taylor

District Msn. Virginia Taylor

District 11

Missionary Virginia Maire Taylor is the daughter of the late Clarence and Zanzie McCoy of Shreveport, LA.  In 1983, she moved to Jackson, MS, and shortly afterward joined the Amazing Church family where she has been a faithful member for more than 30 years under the leadership of Superintendent Marcus L. Butler.

For 18 years, she served as Chairlady of District 11. Because of her service and dedication to former District Missionary Erma T. Neal, in 2014, this humble spirited woman of God was promoted to serve under Superintendent Marcus L. Butler as District Missionary of District 11. District Missionary Taylor is a hands-on visionary leader who does not mind working hard.

She has received many awards and accomplishments in the secular arena, and her work ethic has manifested itself in her role as District Missionary of District 11.  Under her leadership the following programs have been established:

  • Tuesday Morning Prayer & Devotion (conference call)
  • Back to School Drive (provides assistance to underprivileged families with needed educational materials)
  • Annual Family Conference
  • Parade of States Conference
  • Revision of the Ruby Jean Butler scholarship banquet (for graduating high school students)

With a personal desire to broaden her knowledge base, received her master’s in theology from the New Foundation Theological in 2019 and she is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Theology.

Missionary Virginia Maire Taylor is the mother of three children Tony, Ardis Jr., and Renisha.  And the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren.
