“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

 ~Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

Each day we should awaken with a determination to put into practice trusting God.

“Practice,” you say.  Yes, “practice.”  What are some of the words that come to mind when you hear the word, practice?  Repetition, rehearsal, preparation, set to excellence, training, fine-tuning, and drill, just to name a few.  So we should place into practice putting our trust in God Almighty for all things due to our living, naturally and spiritually.

If we say that we are His, then we should practice believing His Word, the Bible.  And remember, in order to know His word, you have to read His word.  We should practice trusting God to answer our prayers according to his Word and his will.  That’s what it states in 1 John 5:14-15.  We have confidence when we ask anything according to his will; God hears us.  And it further states that if He hears us, we know that we have his petition. He will answer.  WOW.  God hears us, and he answers.  Therefore, we should trust him wholeheartedly to answer our prayers when we are confronted with an issue, whether health, finances, family or anything.

The word of God in Luke 12:31 states that God knows what we need.  Seek him first, and all things will be added unto us.  Trust that God will provide.

Nuggets to Remember

So if we practice trusting God, it will soon become second nature.  Whenever an issue is presented, we will go to God in prayer, trusting and believing that He will make everything alright.
